nice, thanks for info. I wanted to try it out but never did it :/.
The mods should be enough for the Cold reisst (taking damage at -31 C with my new old ostrich)
Could be enough for Medium radiation (or not sure the name aswell). I wasn't missing alot.
It's should help in some case for poison but not the Severe fog I encountered by falling into water.

And yeah white llama might be 800 weight (basic) and can get up to 1100+ with saddle and basket.
It's rare that yo uneed so much weight except for moving stuff from a base to another one.

Another one, with your experience do Ostrich egg level matters ? I took a lvl 38 or ?? and hatched a level 8 with it...

Also the food is mostly for mount the dissipation soup or what its called, my egg was lvl 47 and he got lvl 13, he is now lvl 15 no idea how ostrich works. The jaguar turns into your awarness level (at capture) so my black panther is lvl 52.

Ye and even then, when hauling stuff i still prefer to bring a companion with +60% maxload perk while i still maintain the crazy speed of the panther.

Another point on this,
I hatched 2 eggs of Ostrich(lvl 2 for now)

ostrich 1 : Yellow 961.8 hp Load 398.6 Speed 103.344%
Ostrich 2 : Green (RIP) 768.3 hp Load 312.9 Speed 100.17%

The hp aren't final but it show that stats are better overall aka more survivavibility

Is the ostrich as fast as the jaguar? Because just for the wastelands i dont see a need to get an extra mount when i just can feed my jaguar some jam now and then to easily counter radiation accumulation. Altho i havent been everywhere in the wasteland yet.

Weight, a bit more significant.
