Clan, Tribe, and lack of warnings about choices
Hi, i love Soulmask and i managed to have 3 friends to join my private server, while a few others may join soon.
So we each have our clans as everyone have when making a character, and we made a tribe because it seemed natural.
BUT.... now we realize that Tribe have some annoying aspects :
- Boonfire limit to 6, so the more friends you have, the less possibility to have a personnal base
- the tribesmen of others clan are spamming chat window... or then even sometimes move to other boonfire.

The goal to had a tribe together was co-op fighting, but we didn t wanted to build a giant base for us, and to share all bench : this would in a way spoil the newcomers.

So now, somes want to leave the tribe, so they can build a second base and have a second boonfire : problem, when they do, they loose all they belongings : buildings, chest, benches.

Developpers should A) give more explanation about tribe limitation, and the impossibility to leave a tribe without loosing everything B) set a personnal marker on a boonfire so everything in range of it still belong to the original crafter when he leaves a clan, or make a tribe leader option so he can allow that.

It's a big problem for players veterans of Conan Exile, who couldn t imagine joining a tribe was so impactfull in the long term.

Since you have your own private server, just disable building decay, that way you don't have to have bonfires at all, and everybody can build as many bases they want.
Campfires work as a re-spawn points as well as bonfires.

Your biggest annoyance. The chat log. I got your fix.

Options > Language & Other > NPC Channel - Chat > Toggle Off

There, that's fixed. haha

Bonfires... so what you "could" do since this a private server. Get rid of building decay. Now you can build WHEREVER you want without an bonfire being needed to keep it safe from decay. The issue with moving to other bonfires is annoying and for now, I don't have a permanent fix but all light sources technically are the cause for this cuz of warmth and their comfort level. Your npcs want to be comfy and apart of that is good working conditions and places to relax when not working. What you can do is assign your npcs certain tasks that require them to go from place A to place B more often, such as go to work station and grab an item to put into an assigned box. This will 'help' them stay in the area you want. ANNOYING but can and does work... a little. You'll still encounter the annoying occurrence every now and then.

Losing NPCS due wanting to start over again... well, that comes with the territory of never getting too attached to your npcs. I mean we have an achievement to 'recruit' 100 of them for a reason. They're gonna die eventually and be lost forever anyways (the ones we don't save on the table anyways).

Best of luck buddy. Other options can be to set up patrols and those patrols can also serve as a way to keep them to an area.

I don't have friends, and not been in a tribe, so this is just s guess. Maybe try picking up all of the furniture you want to keep before leaving the tribe? That may be a workaround for losing all of the furniture. As far as chat spam, I don't know.
