Tips to kill tortoise?

Cant do eneough damage to a tortoise before he fulls to full hp. Anyone got any tips?

I only have an issue with the elite tortoise, I'm gonna try throwing a corrosive on it just before taking dual blades to it and seeing how that works out

You have to use a hammer, and the F key attack on the turtle.

Try posion but me and a lvl 50 tribe member couldnt kill one lvl 37 he healed everytime. But a lvl 34 we could kill.

or fist weapons. circle behind them and sue the sidestep hook ability, with bronze/iron, i can usually out damage the heal.

Use a hammer. Just a few blows and it's dead. Did you know tortoises wear a strong shell?

Use any weapon. When turtle goes into its shell just make sure you are behind it where it can’t see you and it should pop back out. Been grinding them with dual blades.

So far hammers are the way to go, sadly corrosive jars do nothing against the natural armour so.

just attack him when he heals go behind his back then he will come out not fully healed
