Yeah, the make X items per Y hours system they went with is really odd. I don't like it at all because I have to GUESS how many I'm going to need. If I can simply set X minimum items then my villagers will craft until the number I have in storage hits X, then they will stop until it goes below X. Makes it super easy to maintain minimums for tools, food, etc. that way instead of having to hope that making 25 items every 4 hours is going to be enough, but not too much...
I am aware of the gear button, but like Macdallan said, it is odd, I thought there might be some other way I missed. Oh well, something to tell them work on.
Over time, if we keep making 25 everyday, the entire chest might be full of one tool. Wow, thats so funny!
I ordered 3 axes but my minions are not crafting them? well, better start rummaging through all the chests to see if there are enough ingots, leathers and handles! such fun!
listen, I understand the want to protect the thing you like from criticism, to some extent, but this is an early access game and it is missing some critical features, like this one. it is within our (yours included) interests to point out these deficiencies so that they can be fixed and game can be better.
