That answers my question and then some! Thanks so much!
To provide a little more detail in case anyone is curious, "Panther" is the commonly shortened variant of the term "Black Panther" which is not actually a species of cat but the phenotypic genetic variant that causes large cats (commonly leopards and jaguars) to display melanistic coloration.
To repeat in common vernacular: Panther means it's a big black cat.
Perfect! I lived on a cattle farm here in Brazil and I saw a panther (jaguar), she had a young cub and he was the standard color.
A beautiful animal!
Answering about the Soulmask, to get the panther cub, you need luck. I tried more than 20+ times and got my panther. Don't forget that the limit of animals/mounts is 10, if you already have 10 you will not be able to remove the baby from the trap.
That said - and I know it´s only a game - I find it immoral that you have to kill the cub and mum to get a new try. Killing mother animals and their baby offspring is a no-go for most hunters.
