nope. you can also do that via tribesmen work.
How? Yesterday I built the yard. I can’t find and set to log only premium hardwood.
Same issue, I built the Collection Yard and there's no way to filter what they harvest. Very disappointed - it seems basically useless?
Edit: Ok it's after you assign a person to work it, when you go into their 'work settings' you can edit what they harvest. No setting on the yard itself, the setting is in work settings of the person you assign as the caretaker.
I think the answer is the same as everything else, as they're still using them.
Think of this as an alternative to the task function to harvest random stuff. The only difference is you can select what to harvest. But the tools are the same to do it with.
I think i would also like to point out, at least from my experience in the demo, the goods are apparently stored inside the structure, not whatever box you normally use for it. I don't know if it's still this way, but watch for it. However, I think any crafters will pull from it.
