You can get durability mod 3s from the ruins dungeon. Put these on your main armor you want to mod and it will last a much longer time.

Yeah thays really dumb, what do the devs think when making these decisions lol. I'm actually tempted to turn durability off completely now...

Yes, it is a REALLY dumb design.

I mean the losing max durability every repair is prob the most abusive decision I've seen. It's lot just there to invalidate gear after a while.

I don't like durability in survival games in general. I just started playing on Friday, Now that I know I would lose mods repairing I'm glad I turned that off. You set durability consumption multiplier to 0 in advanced settings to turn durability off.

Just the more things I turn off the more it feels like cheating and making the game too easy. At whay point do you not just give yourself 10x ressources etc lol

I rather like the durability loss on repair because it means you can't just keep the same gear forever. However, I agree that losing mods upon repair is really bad design. Especially since these mods won't last forever anyway since gear has to be replaced at some point.

+1, needs fixing.

Yeah, I just figured this out myself, by dying to poison when I thought I had a poison mod but didn't because it got removed when I repaired my armor but didn't realize it until it was too late. Not a fan of it either.

I set durability loss to 0 in settings. Now game is much more fun. Me and friend spent ages in the first dungeon and didn't have to worry about weps breaking after killing a few mobs. Now what we craft stays.
