I killed my main character

After getting my first tribal member I decided to let my main character die and respawn as the new tribe member. Now I can play without Ankhor holding me back.

Has anyone tried this and never respawned the first character? Curious to know if this is the way to remove the pretty average starting member for good

You can play as other tribesmen as mucb as you want but when they die they are dead (until you unlock the function to revive them).

Aware of the ability of playing as the other tribe members but I want to know if your main starting character is gone for good if you respawn as a tribe member. When i did it it only shows one person in my tribe now and i have seen no sign of the main character coming back so far. Want to know if others have tried to do the same?

Main Character has never shown in the Clan or Tribe list mines still perfectly alive sitting in a house on the starter beach but doesnt show up in any of listing.

If the tribesman you control dies, you can respawn as your main character. In fact you must respawn as your main character, there is no other option to respawn as.

Wrong you can respawn as a different tribesman if you have others.

Yeah literally ask if u wanna respawn as someone else. I currently have 3/3 tribesmen but none are my starting character. Makes it so much better as now if i take control of other members the one i left actually works

You can respawn your tribesman at the bonfire. Hold E and it will show up as remodel initial character.

I don't want my starting character seeing has they are hard stuck with their stats. I have been able to play the game without them so far and it has been great.

Haven’t tried it myself but I am pretty sure that you simply haven’t respawned him >yet<.
I imagine in case you manage to never be fully wiped you can probably play without him, but once your last tribesman dies you will have to respawn with the starter. So you simply skipped on having him sit around being useless. :)
