So far for me this mechanic sucks ass.

Ya we have a private server ill get my mate to enable it when he comes online thank you.
Ya i realise its early access, i just dont know where they are going with this current mechanic, with first main character you can put down campfires at harder locations incase you die and respawn, you cant do this with recruited tribesman, when they die you lose all gear and inventory especially if your at a dungeon boss or all way across the map, unless you have death package on respawn enabled. (death package arrives at the remodel machine for dead tribesman if it is enabled), but main character has 50 proficiency cap so you want tribesman with higher caps. Why cant you use tribesman so they too can use campfires on death?. But no you gotta use a machine to respawn them, they also say you are the mask well if thats the case why would the starting character be any different from a tribesman with the same damn mask?, It just makes no sense to me at all.
I agree with you there. I’m still a little salty about the skill cap on the MC. I wish you could at least specialize them as a class (like the tribesmen are Guards, Hunters, Craftsmen, etc with high skill caps in a few areas).
Ya i guess the devs have a plan but currently it is very confusing.
