Max Durability lowers with each repair
I just discovered this more or less by accident. Others have tested this in public server as well, I assume this is meant to be a feature but out of curiosity doesn't this somewhat defeat the purpose of being able to rng craft legendary gear? If after several repairs the max durability is so low it becomes useless that is.

I like this and that makes having w/e it is durability actually matter vs one set of gear for 90% of the game. It gives depth and IMO I like it. So yeah as you mentioned crafting those boss armors you want on a max crafter.

Legendary gear has better stats, and higher durability.
If you have a crafter with enough skill and the rarity proficiency bonus. They craft legendary gear 90% of the time.

That is true and makes for a fair point. It seems ultimately to offer a push to encourage people to use high tier crafters for their intended purpose. Good input!

I think that durability cap goes down way too quick. I just tested on a weapon with half damaged to repair it and durability cap went down by 350...

The thing is that there is mods, like damage mod, bleeding mod and so on, so you apply those and then you see your weapon going down so quick.

It's nice mechanic but it should be slower. It goes down way too quick.

I would say it should be harder to craft legendary gear but durability cap should go down slower. So once you invested time to craft it you can enjoy longer with adding mods ant things like that.

Yawn when you get better skilled workers or let them work you see them with 3k durrabilty and they lose far less you can fix it like 5 times before its even same quality as a purple from a red. I am sorry but you can only repair somethign so many times before its no good anymore unless you make it so you can swap out the blades and heads wich is something you can't do till industrial age sure as hell can't do well in shack in rainforest lol You gonna need to replace a tool after x repairs sigh. I mean most people i know who like to repair all the time will make till they get reds, then keep fixing it till its same durabilty as common qualty then scrap it.

And again their worker is so good 90% of the time they get a red quality sigh.

Finally someone who understand and don't complain about their character being stuck at level 50 or that they hate durability because they never played 7 days to die lmfao If only somes could put efforts into knowing what's min-maxing. Also don't forget you can put their masteries at 30-60-90-120 to make more higher durability tools, quicker crafter speed or better quality tools.

I have tools at home and they last years without repair.

All that repair is survival game mechanics to not get attached to things. It's like easy to make easy to lose. So you don't care if you die and lose since it's easy to make but at the same time you will be making them none stop.

What some people want is harder to make but last longer so you can invest some time in it.

For example i just tested that repair removes all the mods. Which is like... ok. So now i'm ivesting time to apply mods just to lose them when i repair it.

We want to invest time not waist.

Fair solution, would be an option switch. People who like barbwire around their best parts, can flip it on, and others who don't like the loss of duarbility can flip it off. so everyone is happy.

Just more options :D

This game got it right, most things. In green hell I made a pickaxe from stone and wood, hit a bush with it 3 times and the axe broke.
