How to cure a disease?

I got a disease from fighting a bat. How do you cure this? All the tooltip says is "Continuous bleeding, bruising, cyanosis and necrosis". It says nothing about how to cure it. I went home to die with my firends and family, but had no idea how contagious it was, and now my other guys have it, so if I switch characters, they die too. Is this supposed to happen? How do you cure this? I mean, I know it's historically accurate, but aztecs didn't ride snow leopards.... so...

Good times. Fun. Incurable disease.

The only thing I've found to work is the Special Healing Tinsane from the lvl 2 brew station

You can find this in Flint Tribe village from chests/Chiftain drop etc. Got 4 of them and still Bronze gear Tier 1 area. I've cleared the village twice so far.

Kill barbarians in wastelands (desert). They have a lot. Crafting healing tisane is crazy due to stupid recipe.

I think it's a bug but after my character was dragging around in dying mode the illness went away, so I just used a bandage and pretended nothing happened.
