Exactly this, wonder how many peoples motivation are going to be killed when they learn they have to completely relevel their favorite tribesmen, because 2 eagles killed them on a stone bridge. Just trying to get to Iron equipment.
How it's gonna be easier if we still have have mechanic with skills roll back? Am I missing something?
I wouldnt mind so much the reset of tribesmates if it reset to the last time you recorded them.
I know it doesnt do you any good now to see this but I feel ya Ive lost a couple of really good ones also this was from the Q&A the other day:
Q:Even if my tribesmen can be revived, their talents will be gone forever! And the cycle to cultivate a tribesman from scratch is terrifyingly long!
A:Losing your best tribesman is definitely hard to take. Next update in the week, a "Perfect Revive for Tribesmen" option will be added for solo and private server modes, allowing your tribesmen to be revived directly in their optimal state!
You got new and better gear, you know the map better, your experience on how to fight and level has grown. It's going to be easier and your going to laugh at being so mad about losing one fully kitted NPC. As the game progresses and you keep playing this is almost all there is to do. Your going to have at least a dozen fully kitted fully leveled maxed out dudes. One loss won't be game breaking or something to cry about.
but don't take my word for it, request a refund
I wouldn't listen to Steinaar, he is theory crafting hasn't even beaten the first boss. Feel free to check his achievements. Even if he may have played in a "beta"(Not saying he did) a lot could have changed since then.
Especially since he calls them NPC's, apparently not realizing they become your character until they die, we aren't talking about deploying and having them follow us around, we are talking about how we have to BECOME them to become stronger.
