Why the character is capped at Level 40 and Attribute Points are capped at 50 anyways no need to reset the starting character its worthless after about an hour of play. Your supposed to be playing with your tribesman.
But if you really must know you cant reset attribute points till much later in the game and tech points top left corner of the screen is a button that says reset.
Depending on the tribesman they can go all the way to 120 on weapon skills and whatnot and no idea what there character level cap is im at 59 with my highest one so far. The absolute only reason you would keep playing the main character is to kill the saber tooth and then clear the dungeon following for the mysterious stone tablet. Once you have that you can set tribesman to be saved instead of perma dead when they die.
Yup stupid I know but what can ya do :D
Is it possible to reset tribesman skillpoints ?
you can reset both the MC and NPC attributes by dropping the "Mysterious Bodyshaping Pill" into your or the NPCs inventory and using it there.
the "Mysterious Tisane" only appears to work on the MC
you unlock this late in the game in medicine crafting and it can be rather expensive. or you can admin spawn them if you are able and willing to do so...
