max char lvl is 40?

anyway to increase this? 40 seems a way to low.

I've got level 50 tribesmen. So it goes higher than 40.

i mean your "main" character how do you increase it. but good to know thats it goes higher for your tribesmen if someone can answer if it goes higher for your "main character" how to unlock it.

and lets hope 50 aint max either

It's however a admin setup? I thought I saw something like that. Max level 60. But I'm not sure which of the many levels is meant.

60 is the max awakened level not character level.

There is the skill level, char level, mask level and awakened level. So you should be a little more precise.
For the main char there seems to be lower limits than for NPCs, I'm just unsure if this is a real progression break or there are ways to lift/remove the limits the mayority of the players isn't aware of.

Are you talking about main character level or awakened strength level or attributes? Main character I know is locked at 50 for attributes they dont want you playing that main character they want you using the mask to take control of tribesman.

Probably is the cap then like I said previously they dont want you playing that main character at all hardly. They want you to take control of the tribesman and play as them. Granted if they die they are gone until you finish up the rainforest area then you can use the mask to make them permanent tribe members that dont perma die.

kinda wierd tho, so what if you take control of a tribesman, out exploring and you get raided and the tribesmen you control die. what happens then? game over? since you wont be controlling your starting character anymore?

If you're controlling a tribesmen and die using him, he is dead for good. You can't spawn at campfires, only as one of your other tribesmen or the original character. Als progress you've made on the one that died is lost. Pretty stupid mechanic...

Its Ea , so like others Ea they limited the lvl cap , as Conan, Ark and so on did at launch , their part of devlopment is going on while updates coming and raised the cap lvl as they do in the Ea Market now

Afaik there are options to save and resurrect your tribemates later on, but the first step on this journey is gated behind the first boss, the saber tooth.

You main charactor is what ever you want it to be out the tribe. There is no MC minus your mask(s)
