Awareness strength

Just looking to see if people have found better ways of increasing this. Because really I have found the best most efficient way is cutting down trees early game. What am I missing?

I'm Awareness Strength 15 at the moment and had no issues getting there. Anything you do seems to add to the stat, but I noticed it seems to climb higher when I craft the highest Tier stuff I can.

Try mining clay in areas with lots of it. If not, copper ores will also do.

Most of my early game awareness came from gathering and building a starter base.
Now a majority of my awareness strength comes from Murdering, i currently hit 30.

Gathering, fighting seems to be the best and for love of god get the rested exp bonuses asap by time grind gets hard you should be able to get lvl2 rested bonus for 40% better exp for half an hour at a time.

FYI, the rested bonus doesn't apply to Awareness Strength. That bonus only applies to the character (I think the game refers to it as "Body") EXP. So, for example, I'm currently smelting copper and with the rested bonus in effect I'm getting 150 XP for awareness and 210 XP for the character level.

Awareness Strength: How powerful you are. You can gain Awareness Strength EXP through combat or work,and view the progress on the bottom of the HUD. A sufficient strong awareness can help you restore more Mask Nodes, as well as learn more knowledge and technology.
