How do I get salt?

I want to make jerky, so I need salt. But I've been to the seaside and tried breaking various rocks, yet I haven't found any salt-related minerals. Is salt only available at specific seaside locations?

Yeah, there is a flint tribe camp by the shore where they are producing salt.

Thank you for the information. I successfully found the camp. It's really annoying that they have a monopoly on salt. However, after mining all the salt in that area, I only got 103 raw salt, which is not enough to make a large amount of jerky. Is salt really that precious in this game?
By the way, that camp is over 1000 meters away from my home. Maybe I should consider moving.

have you already got an alpaca? that should cut a good chunk of the travel time.

besides that, there may be other sources of salt around, but I just know that one at the river.
