Yeah sulphur is directly to the west of the biohome teleporter south of the ape pyramid and east of the frog pyramid. Basically the teleporter that's way to the south, close to the middle of the world map.

There's a river, all the ores are in a medium pit on its west side.

You can find sulfur just south of the frog pyramid. Slightly left of the top of the river
