How do you use console commands in SP?

Everything online just talks about private servers. I just want to chill and learn / explore the game in singleplayer right now, and I desperately want to use the GM ShowMap command. How tf do you use console commands in singleplayer? I understand you need to put 'GM key [password]' first, but what do I actually type there if it's a solo game and there is no admin password?

trying to figure out the same... everyone online is talking about a private dedicated server, when you can just host the game without that. I'm currently stuck in some rocks and can't get out. I just want to use the teleport command to get out.
