How do I enable port forwarding and configure the firewall?

I have successfully set up the server and can connect to it myself, but it doesn't show up in the game list, and my friends can't connect either. When looking for articles online, they aren't detailed enough! For a beginner at port forwarding, it's really unfriendly! I hope an expert can provide a detailed step-by-step explanation on how to enable port forwarding for any game hosted on Steam.

If you want to host a server, you also need to know the technical requirements.
Cant afford to write a tutorial how to open ports, so google yourself to the finish line.

Thanks for sharing this information. The point is I don’t know how to put those port numbers in the right direction. In the .bat file, I typed in -port=7777 and -Queryport=27015. I just want to figure out how to put those numbers in the router and firewall. That's all. No matter how hard I try to find the answer, there isn't a single article or content that explains the placement of those numbers or the method for this game!😀😀

im having the same issue, i can see my server on the server list, but my friend cant see it or join, so idk if its thats its working or not

you gota go into your router through an app or a web browser. depending one the internet provider and router, the way to do it is different. google your exact router and it should tell you how to access it online and port forward it.
