So I want to move my base to a new location....

So I want to move my base to a new location, how can I do that without losing everything?
I have a lot of stuff already, and I have mounts and npc but if I build a structure in another place and I don't place a bonfire( I assume we can only have 1 per person) that structure will decay ( they say quite fast) and I have to do long and multiple trips.

you can have more then one bonfire.

This is actually the big negative for me when it comes to crafting games. I want one base to go to and from, not make 8 connected via teleporters that only work if I'm not carrying specific items.

You don't need to do that and their is no such restriction irrc?

Oh I didn't know I can have more than 1 bonfire. Even of the same type?

Yes, but be aware, there's a maximum of bonefires that you can have out. Even if they are not lit.

I don't know exactly how many but we tried to put one down for a quest (respawn point) and it was saying ''maximum reached''. I went out and destroyed an old one, and it worked. We were able to put the fire down near our quest point.

You can have more than one up for sure. I currently have 3 just for my base to cover everything. 2 normal ones and 1 bronze.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but setting up a new base is easy - getting your peeps over to it though is a hassle. Don't you have to have them follow you over one-at-a-time...

Yes, one at the time.... Thank god, when I moved my base I only had 3 haha.

You can see how many bonfires you can have and the total you do have on the map screen. It's on the top left.

I heard with lamas you can carry more than one.

Yay I got lucky (maybe) and found a baby llama at one of them ruins with outcasts. Now I just need to get the saddle and check that out.

Hey pizzabandit can u post where u found it? I am having problems finding them, from the video I watched they are on the other side of the river and I can't manage to climb the mountain passed the river :(
