Auto Crafting Confusion

Hi all, I managed to assign a tribe member to deal with all the crafting stations.

The simple things seem to work but as soon as I need a hardwood handle, for a weapon for example, the status of the craft is "stagnant" missing items. - All items needed are available within the area and if I craft the handle myself the tribe member picks up on it and crafts the weapon.

Is this intended behavior? Do I have to make all the precursor items myself or manually tell em to to do it every time?
Did I miss a setting somewhere or a skill missing? :)

Yea, I learned to start maintaining small stockpiles of the sem-finished products, and just cue up more for the tribies to make as stocks run low.

You need to have more tribe members. If you assign only one tribe member to work on every crafting table that happens. They don't seem to be able to go back to another table and craft the precursor items if they get stuck in crafting something that would need that item.

If you want them to make handles you have to tell them to craft handles. If you want them to make weapons, tell them to make weapons. Each crafting station is seperate work orders they wont make components automagically for you.
