how to fill turkey water?

been struggling to find out how to fill the turkey pens water trough, even when hold e it doesnt give me any option to fill it, also tried setting tribe member to the slaughtering/breeding setting on their work but the turkey pen doesn't pop up?

Farming and breed/slaughter mamagement are a mid/late game tech unlock. To fill the trough you need a water tank made from pottery. Fill the tank by pressing e on a water source. Put the tank in your hotbar and use it like a weapon. Youll dump the water into the trough. 1000 units at a time.

Have you figured out why the pen won't show up in the Breed & Slaughter Management work locations? I am trying to assign any tribe member to take care of the Turkey coop, but no matter what I try, it won't show up..

You need the hub building to manage the pens. Advance your tech enough until you can build a breeding farm that covers your pens and then assign warrior to it.

Same thing for farms, you need to reach granary before assignment.

Before that... All manually done by you.

OMG thank you. I just found them, Granary for farmlands and Breeding Farm for animals/pens.

Oh, okay. I spent a lot of time moving the turkey coop around thinking it's some sort of pathing problem. Anyway, I'm glad that it's not.

hold a water jug in your hand, hover over water trough, the left click.
