Initial Character Remodel ?

What is this option ? I would assume its a remodel of your main character you created however When Activating this at a bonfire it says Initial Character already exist : Cannot remodel again . Is this a work in progress function that is not available at the moment ? It is a very confusing function .

You unlock the ability to remodel at a special bench later in the game, in this case it's giving you the option to revive your main character if you died and respawned at a companion. Previously this would lock you into that companion unless you killed them to spawn again as yourself.

Does anyone know if i need a specific crafting table for that to work with the respawn i cant figure out how it is working i got the tabled level1 and can safe tribemen there but how do i use them again

No . You only need to unlock part of your mask by repairing it in fact . You just look for one that says control , I think that’s what it’s called and once your able to take control over your tribesmen you can pretty much spawn as your tribesmen and take control over them and then when you go to a bonfire as your tribesman you can use the remodel function . Keep in mind all it does is just resurrects your character and he or she just appears as if their sleeping sitting down which you can then take control over your main .

I honestly thought it was a character recustom function but it’s just to pretty much resurrect your body . Guess the point of this is that you just take control over your tribesmen during a fight and when you die at a second chance to kill what ever killed you . I really was hoping it was a character recustom but it not at all what it sounds like . Should just call it ressurection or something similar . That’s what it really is .

I think the translation is translated by ai. I saw at least one pop up screen in Chinese or whatever it is. The config files are in the same language.
