how many more EA survival games do we need?
Remember Palworld?
Remember Valheim?
Remember V rising?
Remember Conan Exiles?
Remember ARK?
Remember Enshrouded?

How many more EA survival slop do you guys need?

By all means keep feeding the "industry".

Can we just get a proper, non-triple A open world RPG outside of this survival co-op fad? All these games crater after 1 month

Does EA Secretly have a gun to your head right now?
Are they forcing you to play this "slop"?
Is this a cry for help?

open world survival FANS eating good this year. most of them are EA but that not means they are bad.

palworld was decent game, "take" other game element and blend it well with their game
Enshrouded release close to palworld, although get overshadow a bit but still perform well
valheim was very slow in production but really solid one
nightingale fumble when they make online only before offline update

v rising already finish
Ark (ASE is finish, ASA is "joke")
conan exiles already finish

actually valheim is not that good compared to some of these upgraded open world survivor games. i stopped playing it cause the combat is real bad compared to even this game . personally I like v rising the best

Remember Palworld? Looks like Pokemon and childish so not really my thing
Remember Valheim? Played extensively, gret game. Not so keen on procedural generation.
Remember V rising? Playing currently in 1.0, it;s great.
Remember Conan Exiles? Played for so many hours I should probably have a qualification in it even in E.A
Remember ARK? Played to death.
Remember Enshrouded? Waiting for it to cook a little more and will play this too.

More please, especially good ones like most of the list you provided.

Ew don't give the clown farmer points. What you want them to make you an EA dark souls game? Jesus who cares child buy it or don't buy it. I don't got "how many dark souls like tagged games do we need!" I don't like them so I just don't buy them or click on them when they show up on steam store lol.

I mean come on show some self control. And I love all these new survial games but I am also been steam member for 18 years now so I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ they be done by time I at 20 year mark or abandoned and I play them or something else. This idea we just got play the same 2 games all our lives is freaking insane. I got almost 700 games in my steam libarary over the 18 years I had this account.

Never once went "oh god is that a new game of a genre I do or don't like!?!" no I just wish list what I like, looks really good research it buy it or don't. I mean as is I own like 17 out of the top selling 20 survial games because I like genre and I keep buying like 2-3 new ones a year as long as they keep making them.

While other people keep buying sports games every year, or freaking COD or BF ones its you decision as a grown up you can pick where you money goes lol. If it bothers you, just click on something else lol. I mean I refuse to pay full price on Ark 2.0 lol But I don't troll their forums about it lol.

Its not even in my top 10 survial games I own lol. But yeah its popular, but ♥♥♥♥ I think Conan did it better even with that crappy battle pass BS they put out sigh. Hell I got more ours in like 40 other survial games then valheilm. But to each their own. I bought 90% of my survials as EA games and never regreted it. I mean Ark still has most hours in game of all of them but its one oldest not counting Unreal World that came out in 1992 and still EA and being worked on lol. Its been crowned the first Ever Surivial game and holds record for longest time in production. granted I didn't get my copy till I want say 2018 lol.

But trust me there is always gonna be more, just like their will always be more colony sims, farming games, shooters, rpgs etc ettc.

I agree with the op. Looks interesting but it's still the same game play with a new coat of paint. Plus I don't feel like buying yet another half finished game.
subwaybananas Jun 1, 2024 @ 2:02am
Ark, out of EA.
Conan Exile, out of EA,
V-Rising, out of EA
None of all of them are crater. All of them are very good playable even with EA.

No one force you to buy the games. You don´t loose anything when you wait till 1.0 release. When they don´t go into the EA they just come out later, like their 1.0 release. (But with less polishing and adding stuff ´cause no community feedback and money to help during the develop time).

All of those are great and worth playing with the possible exception for palworld (just Ok). If this game ends up being half as good as Valheim it would be a huge accomplishment,
