make a follower follow

i cant figure out how to make it follow

press E when looking at them.
its in that menu

look at them, and hold E, then pick deploy, you see the control keys on the left of the screen, F2 or F3 is for follow if i'm not mistaken.

When I press the keys f1-f8 nothing happens. F1, 2, and 4 minimize my screen.

If you have use Laptop with Fn Key, try fn+f2.

On my Hp Laptop i had to change a setting in the BIOS to use F Keys without Fn.

if you dont hit E when looking at them and select deploy then the Function keys F1-12 will not show for the follower commands. instead they will do what they are assigned to do for your pc or the game commands.

I'm on a desktop and I'm using a wireless keyboard.

Push E on the Barbarian, choose "Combat" and now you see on the left the little Command Window with Follow etc.
