Report a translation problem
In the Graphics settings menu toggle the "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" option. Restart PC.
maybe you have that AMD fidality on, that's the same as DLSS but for amd cards, i imagine if you turn that on, dlss disables (not sure just using logic)
file: GameUserSettings
bGameSettingDLSSEnable=false change TRUE
bGameSettingDLSSEnable=true
and save

Unreal Engine, for whatever reason, especially UE4.2X, is prone to some buggy boolean settings, reverting stuff and completely disabling it on the go.
I even switched to UE5 due to this reason, as my testing and viewport usage was buggy as hell due to 3rd-party plugins like DLSS, FSR, FG and Co.
