And crafting from chests is damn near the most pointless mod I can ever think of just put your boxes and work area closer to geterh think ♥♥♥♥ threw they fetch it already when they craft unless you really suck at logistics its like extra 2-6 seconds sigh. Like in this game its damn near pointless as I can que up work orders up to 999 and they craft while I am offline out of base what ever lol Plus they get better caps there for better production times, and bonus then you can do lol
Also mod support isn't as easy as toggling a box sigh. Its why many do it later in production, that and again want see people rage watch them fix the EA while mod uses are playing you see it every single patch "hot fix broke my game!" Then people go "mods broke your game" and they complain that some how they got fix the game but not break the mods lol
when they both posted it was already said that mods will be coming
When i originally posted I noticed a trend with a lot of big-name games, including those from EA. They usually wait until super close to (or even after) the game's release to give out a dev kit. This means that every time they update the game, it breaks all the mods people have made.
Think about Starfield, Ark, Conan, 7 Days to Die, and Space Engineers. Starfield, for example, was modded before Bethesda even released their dev kit. Every single update messed up the mods, and we couldn't play for days! The same thing happened with SE, 7 Days to Die, Ark, and Conan.
If they released dev kits with every update, modders could fix their mods right away,
and we wouldn't have to wait so long to enjoy the game again. But that rarely happens to the point i dont know of any that the dev kit does update along with every mod breaking patch.Except maybe SE iv'e never really seen if they use a dev kit but ive seen many of the mods on servers ive run break after a update and be unplayable for weeks until a update to the broken mods happened if they ever got fixed at all.
Also i never said that there wouldnt be mod support just that it would be closer to full release ,does amke me wonder ifg there plannign on goign full release pretty soon i mean honestly game runs great lots of content already and now there also talking bout new DLC ,so stands to reason that they could be coming out of EA pretty soon maybe possibly.
"Yes, in our upcoming major update at the end of September, Soulmask will officially offer user-generated content creation tool: say hello to the Devkit!"
