How to enable cheats or admin for single player?

So the anger over developers doing it is more then justified!

Many of the settings can be changed beyond the scale. You just double click the value and edit it directly.

Here is a good video from one of my favorite youtubers that explains how to remove all the grind, but not the fun (he doesn't touch any combat settings):

Awww..but we wants it. Even on easy, these camps are insane to try to take over before everyone respawns. I don't even know how to move on.

There is easier than "Easy". Like, MUCH easier.

Go to custom settings. Use the sliders. You can make the game extremely easy if you wanted to.

For those of u who don't know, there is a script from cheat engine forum that allows us to access the admin panel in solo/friends game mode. Go search googleee.

I personally seldom use admin commands. I don't like to use them because once you do, when does it stop. I agree it isn't fun when you cheat. But if someone wants to just essentially play the game in creative (otherwise known as cheat mode), that is their own business. Maybe they are doing it to create a video. Maybe they are trolling their friends. Who knows.

Good, im playing Single player mode and I want everyone to know im the real deal at this game, not some PVP'r thats been given bronze gear the minute he landed in a PVP server lol

Because from what ive seen the devs clearly intended this to be a online multiplayer survival game FAR more than a soloable SP/COOP game like many people play other survival games.

They literally wrote there is currently no way to use cheats in single-player.

Why do people assume admin mode in single player is for people who just want to play the game in god mode and have no challenge? It only shows your narrow-mindedness. And even if they did, why do you care? It’s single player. How is it effecting you? Mind your business. But… many online players want to come to single player to test things like creating builds and looking for new base locations and such so they don’t waste time and resources in their actual game. It’s called efficiency

Love the players with their panties in a bunch over what other people do in their Single Player games. So what if some people want to use Admin Commands to "cheat"? Some people just can't mind their own business and just love to interfere, I guess.

It's also very useful if you want to try out the building system without farming the materials.
