And various game worlds are created with a mix of procedural generation and hand crafted. Even if a game map is the same map for everyone and not unique, doesn't mean that it was hand crafted.
Stop acting intentionally ignorant. You know as well as everyone here that every large open world game uses procedural generation in SOME capacity. But you know damn well that's not what people mean when they say "procedurally generated". It's not generated based on a seed, it's one static map.
All thes guys saying nonsense.

Even with speedtree a map will be handcrafted, since you need to remove trees here and there, fix a mountain here, add a small hill there.

There's nothing wrong with a hand made world. Unless you are Bethesda, and you constantly keep placing floating rocks and floating trees all over the world. Bethesda should use an AI to write their games for them.
Lol. It is handcrafted. POI's are same places, same types, etc. Even bushes, trees, rocks, lakes, etc. are same place.,
I think they PG'd a HUGE map then went around and started handcrafted as much as they could... I'm only guessing of'c

It doesn't feel as entirely hand crafted as Kenshi's game world, a difficult standard, but definitely more fleshed out than any of the Icarus worlds by a mile.
