The character menu has a button to see the face with no mask but playing the game the mask is always on.

The mask system is lame, wish this is just another survival game without mask. Should have been tattoos lol that gives them power and life.

in the demo/open beta u could turn it off... but honestly it looks stupid with it off. i do NOT know if other ppl would still see the mask or not. as thats kinda a key part of the game knowing whos who. once u get paints and headdresses the masks are alot cooler and u can change alot more about them

I think having masks always on can contribute to identifying PvP opponents general abilities, that is if you know what one mask does over another.

go to language and other in game settings, its in there.

Thank you, Shawnatomic. I found it in the language, and others couldn't find it anywhere until you pointed that out.
