Is there ever going to be a sequel?

I've just done replaying this. I've long been a fan of Jane Jensen games since the days of the very first Gabriel Knight, the exception being GK3 due to its primitive at the time engine, some bad puzzles and protracted development. This game has some graphical issues and some freezing but is thoroughly enjoyable.

I'm glad that the point and click game genre seems to be making something of a comeback albeit with redos of old games (Gabriel Knight, Grim Fandango etc), but also with new games like the Deponia series, and even some lesser known but still good games like the rather unfortunately names Lost Chronicles of Zerzura which sounds like a very cheaply made HOG game.

Moebius is enjoyable. Malachi is a total ass, but that is the point of his character at first, coldly analytical, anti social, kinda like Mulder plus. His relationship with Walker is pretty good and the way it develops through the game. I do like the character analysis puzzles and the Moebius analysis ones as being a bit different.

Sequel would be nice to have. I liked Moebius even though it had few rough edges.

This game is from ¿2014? I´m not very optimist about getting any sequel. O_ò A shame, the chars were good.

Honestly, I was just wondering this! I only just finished and I want a sequel DESPERATELY. It looks like, from the website, that it was initially meant to be a series, and this was supposed to be just the first. The website hasn't been updated since 2016, but there's also nothing confirming the project is cancelled. I wish I could know for sure, I'd really like to play more in this series and see Malachi and David's relationship evolve and more of the conspiracy.

Sadly people outside of us don't appreciate a good intelligent adventure game like we do. We can thank Shooter games and the younger generation who thinks they're great. And no disrespect but Jane Austin is probably too old to give a crap anymore. I wish they would make a part 2 and reboot Phantasmagoria but actually make it fun, interesting and playable. The idea seemed good but the execution sucked, even for the technology available.

Yeah mate, Jane Austin would be too old. Jane Jensen on the other hand is still writing books and usually publishes at least 2 a year. I asked her on Goodreads if she had thought of writing a book sequel for Moebius and here's what she said: "I haven't thought about that for a while. I do love that universe and those characters. I really should write the series as books since it's unlikely more games will occur."
