Game breaking bug and two small annoying ones (spoilers)

In the Library in Paris, while accessing the book on the Saint from the Archives, I could not click the EXIT point to get out of looking at the image of the Saint on the book. I think this is because I was messing around trying at that point to take a picture with MRs cell phone, accessible from the inventory side panel (not at that playthrough point realising he would authomatically take a picture later). I just could NOT exit the Saint book using the EXIT so instead I open the upper left hand corner bar of options (the one with the Map access), and clicked on the Map to get me out of the Library entirely. I thought I had cleverly worked around a little glitch, but in fact that caused me to NOT have the picture of the SAINT in my inventory, causing me NOT to be able to play forward in Paris to the Catacombs at a later point). I could no longer access the book through the library archive computre, there were remaining options to search for the Saint, there was no book for me to get in Archive dropbox), there was no Catacomb dialogue out at the Chateau, and I was at a dead end. I reverted to a (sigh, much earlier) save game, replayed the chapter, did not try to fiddle around with the phone in my inventory (and just for clarity again I am not talking about the one you access from the upper left hand corner bar) I was able to close the Saint book through the EXIT, I did get the photo of the Saint in my inventory and I could finish the chapter (took me a good hour I would say to sort it all out from glitch to finish though).

Just thought you should know that..and also now that the game has modestly burned me in that way I will be saving very frequently.

I think it is a serious bug - there was absolutely no way to get that photo once I exited the libarary out of the book directly into the Paris map.

There are also 2 more not very serous bugs - one is that even though I am now in Zurich, if I click on the smartphone through the upper right hand corner and look at the worldmap, it still says I am in Paris.

The final one is that even though I have already given a bouquet of jasmine to Alexandra, if I go to visit the aphrodite, I still get dialogue about needing to find out who is going to meet her there, and I still get dialgoue about needing to find something to tie up a bouquet of flowers with...minor but slightly annoying.

So you were able to open and close the phone just fine, but nothing at all happened when you clicked the exit button the leave the closeup of the book, right?

yes, I was able to open and close and play with the righthand side bar (where there is a phone icon/picture) and open and close the top lefthand sidebar (where there is the interactive smartphone - which I could also open and close). But, as you say, when I clicked the EXIT button to try and leave the book, nothing happened.

And sorry, when I looked through the Steam MOEBIUS discussion options I couldn't find any specific technical issues subform. Apololgies.

Also slight typo in my original discription of the bug - which, if you are trying to replicate the bug , I would like to correct - after exiting the library through the map and returning to the library computer there were NO options to search for the saint anymore there was only a CANCEL option. (So no picture of saint, no saint book in the dropbox, and no option to search for saint anymore on the library computer). Hope that clarifies.

Odd, I haven't been able to replicate this at all. I've tried opening and closing the phone interface, menu, etc. while in the closeup images of both books and nothing's yet prevented me from being able to exit them. I'm still going to apply a fix that makes it impossible to do anything in those closeups aside from exiting (hiding the rest of the interface, basically) which will also prevent the map situation from being possible. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm looking into the other issues you mentioned as well.

I am not sure - as I said I was trying to figure out how to take a picture - those side bar options (combine, view and interact?) confuse me a little so I was likely doing some random clicking on those and within that inventory sidebar in the hopes that something would make MR take a picture of the image in the book - could have been a weird combination of clicks - if memory serves me I think the sidebar inventory actually disappeared and was no longer available beyond a certain point - which is possibly when I decided I should exit - otherwise I might still be there clicking. :).

As to the other issues - the second one (aphrodite statue) happened after the jasmine bouquet and also AFTER the scene with the handsome butler (Gustav?), so the whole scenario was basically done by that point, so the dialogue was definitely referring to a supposed future scene that was actually over and done.

Hope that helps too and thanks for your responsiveness. Yes, just preventing the mad clickers among us from having those options available at all when in the Saint book should prevent others from getting that first big bug.
