Who is Bishop Six
First of all many thanks for making this game. So awesome. Still playing it and still enjoying and more I play, more I'm interested in the lore and actually finding out about the universe of the game. I must say it's masterfully written and I really like how you guys were blending the development of the game itself with development of the IDGI-1 satellite, haha. One would even believe it's real! :-D

So, I was wondering. Throughout the game there is a mention of Bishop Six history and his less-than-stellar past but I wasn't able to find any info on him. Who is this guy that we're connecting to exactly? What did he do in the past that Pawn 1 hates him? Is it something I missed in my reading of the lore (there's just so much of it!) or is it something we're supposed to discover in the game and the next sequel? I'm asking because I'm supposed to answer some in-game questions about Bishop Six and I'm not sure how to respond. On my first play through I played as the ignorant guy knowing nothing about A.R.G. or Guardian Church and so on and on this play through I really want to dig-in.

Anyway, thanks for any info on the matter.

I think you learn more as you play through the game. Although I'm pretty new to the game myself.

While there are some tidbits that can be gleaned from playing very carefully (and getting lucky), for the most part Bishop 6 is a mystery to us on this side of the rift. The satellite prevents us from hearing or learning most things about him or his past. This allows him to be a blank slate for each new connection.

Slightly off topic, but - when do you think the firmware on the sattelite will be updated in order to provide us with a steady and stutter free experience? My rig - i5-4690K + Radeon R9 280X.

He's not really a blank slate if I'm accused of stuff he has done in the past :-( But I hope we'll be able to learn more about him in the future.

Sidspacewalker: Could be AMD drivers or something? I have a GeForce GTX 560 which isn't as powerful as your card and have no stutters or lags and almost always 60 FPS.

Oh it says it's 60 fps but there's wierd stutters all over. This kind of stuttering is seen only in this game. But I'm done with the game, I can only hope devs will make the 2nd one perfect before release.
