How to get 7k
Played about 70 hours and still dont know how to get 7k or even 6k. Its way too fast when you get above 4k. My max score for now is ~5600.
Is it even possible to get 7k?

There's a certain point where even the fastest human could not do this. That's why this game is so fun, it first takes skill to get used to, then starts challenging your physical and mental limits.

First of all, I advise watching my vid of 7k kills on Standard just to get a better feel of the flow of battle:

As for skills, Heal and both deflects are a given. But my other 2 choices were Grey out and Throw weapon, why is that? because both give you a much needed breathers as speed goes faster and faster.

Some say Grey out breaks their momentum, I say get used to it! because it's better off than having to fight complex sessions and insanely fast brawlers. Plus you raise the bonus bar much faster as well.

Throw weapon - free kills is obvious, but my favorite part about it is that it slows down all the enemies around you. Plus if you throw a sword, you can "chase" it and score some extra kills as well. (Just keep missing in that direction).

One more tip - in case you do, then DON'T wait for animations, such as lifting a weapon, throwing, kicking the ball and throwing weapons (both large and small).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
With dedication and proper concentration you can also do it.

Yeah horheristo, i already saw your copypasta, and your advices realy helps me.
But in youtube comments you say what you get 7k in 3-4 attempts and get other survivals in 2-3 attempts.
Realy? This doesn't sound very believable. are_you_trying_to_cheat_me_again.jpg
Oh, and that unhuman speed of brawler kills looks... unhuman.

The fastest reaction time by eyes is about 100th of a second, so 0.1 seconds is all that is needed. This is of course faster when the eye can see multiple brawler moves, and queue them all up to do in rapid succession. It's all about hand eye coordination, and making it more efficient and quick through training.

Have you seen my other games videos and you're still doubting me?

I'll take your post as an awesome compliment.
I take my gaming seriously, for me it's a lifestyle, for other it's just passing time :)

I didn't saw your other videos, but it's look like none of those have been taped your quick fingers. So, you know, there is a lot of software can adjust CPU cycles speed, aka speedhacks.

Once again, I'm quite honored to be considered on par with a cheating program.

I don't just post any video, most are extremely hardcore achievements that only dedicated gamers are willing to put themselves through, my point was that I am such a person.
Mind you - Cave Story+ S ranks also requires very fast fingers, and I play only with a keyboard. That means no auto firing, but I guess if one wants, one can find an excuse for anything.

Not sure why it is so impossible to believe that this could be done legit and fast, when you have a passion for something - everything's possible.

Many of the games I've finished were cleared (100%) in record time, what takes a normal player 100 hours on average takes me 30. I'm not shy to say that I play on a different level than most people. Notable examples are Dustforce SS in 13h and Hotline Miami in 8.4h, there's plenty more though. (I run an Astats account which flags cheating accounts)

Perhaps you lack the same passion I have, my friend.

I didn't play those games, except dustforce. I get double s+ achievement in 63h. Dustforce is not about speed, it's about repeating level over and over again, so you don't need unhuman speed for that, just regular patience. And if I have a lack of passion I would have drop it after 10h. And if you have finished dustforce in 13h, well... +1 to my speedhack theory.

No, you don't have the same passion for games as I do.

According to you, one can't be that much better than you, seems almost unacceptable.

I don't know what kind of passion do you have, maybe it's passion to use speedhacks :) Anyway I love games, hardcore or not, indie or not. Ofhourse a lot of people faster than me but no one is better, but you know, there is a lot of cheaters in steam, just look at the ofdp leaderboard. I must just believe in that? billions of kills!? I could believe in your skills horheristo-kun, it's not a billion of kills after all, but I didn't believe until I saw your fast hands in action:horsearmor:

@horheristo:

You either die a noob or live long enough to see yourself be called a hacker.

Fixed

One of the reasons I started recording myself was to have proof of my skill. But it looks like it is not enough for some.

What I don't get is why bother playing any game just to end up cheating yourself out of the challenge? I don't even look for fame, hardly scraping 50 views if that.

Most of the games I've played were done in record time including the most soul crashing achievements.
I cannot even recall the last casual game I played... so saying I cheated myself in all of them is absurd.

I don't get the point of cheating either. In the most challenging games, the only way to go is forwards, cheating just makes it a slow, boring slog through what is normally a super intense meat grinder. For example, in Mount & Blade:Warband, I went from barely being able to fight 5 Sea Raiders (Vikings) on my solo build, to taking out 110 entirely by myself, with one retreat 51 kills in to heal my horse. That brought pride, to think I had gone from a noob that didn't even know how to properly swing a sword, to a hundred man slayer. I can't even imagine trying to cheat in that game, the challenge IS the fun.

QFT, you cheat no one but yourself at the end of the day.

Also, It's not like I'm perfect all around either, for example - I get my ass handed to me in the latest Super smash bros for the 3DS, because I can't master the D-pad for the life of me :beatmeat:

I wish I could plug a keyboard into every console / handheld.
