How to add mods to weapons?

Can anyone tell me how to add enhancments to weapons?

You need to have the weapons workbench to mod your weapons. Speak to Daedalus

I was able to buy the Weapons Workbench. I placed it in my room, but I can't interact with it or mod my weapons by right-clicking. Is there something I need to do before I can use it??

Also, when I exit the game and come back in, the Weapons Workbench is gone and I need to place it in my room again.

After you have acquired the weapon workshop upgrade, you interact with the starting workbench, and change to the weapon mod tab icon on the top left. The weapon(s) you want to mod must be in your inventory and unequipped, and the same goes for the mod(s) you want to apply.

Ohhh gotchya, I figured I must have been doing something wrong lol thanks so much for getting back to me!
