I'm quite interested in this game, but not enough to go back to windows.
I eradicated Windows from all my machines a while back after dual booting Fedora/Win10 for a year, reason was that MS decided to update to 11 without my consent after I declined multiple times, main rig just booted into 11 one day, MS can eat a bag of d's.

A statement as ridicolous as this doesn't show much professionalism. Guess I won't need to follow this project anymore to see what they're up to.
A shame, while mostly a Valorant rip off, the double body gimmick is interesting and the graphics look quite nice and clean.
Beside official native support, which is I think what their FAQ entry is about, just not actively blocking Proton and reaching out to Battleye would be something. This is the first time I see a game actively blocking Proton, usually it would just work or not work, and that would be okay, but here the strategy to prevent it in the first place is pretty aggressive considering Battleye has Proton support. Hope they will change their mind in the future.
This message is not salty.
Please use Windows if you want to play video games, Linux is good for other things but very bad for gaming.
MacOS is the worst for gaming, also I suggest you actually try it out and not use what I assume is second-hand knowledge to make your judgement, since Linux gaming has got so much better over the last few years with Steam Deck's release. I've been gaming on Linux for a few weeks now and it does everything Windows would do (tried 30+ games from my library, all work flawlessly) without the bloat, imagine if Windows idled at close to 0% CPU & <2Gb RAM usage. I threw Windows in the trash already, and I'm so much better off without it.
Steam works on my M1 mac, not sure what issue you have but I occasionally play FTL on steam and wow classic outside steam on it with no issues.
Agreed, this is poor handling considering it could be enabled but its not, I'd understand if they enabled it, saw a cheating problem and then disabled it with justification... but straight up not enabling is just the same ♥♥♥♥ Rainbow Six Siege pulled, and that is plagued by cheaters on exclusively Windows, ironic.
