Does the soup causes scurvy?

I only got watermelons, Sea Biscuits, Cheese, and Soup Pot in my boat and my pirates still getting scurvy.
Is this normal? Does any other food besides fish causes scurvy? Or is this a bug only in my game?
Anybody help me, please!!!

dont know pretty sure its food out of the water but i cant tell you because no 1 give enolugh of a crap to do any thing to help get passed the quadro delta screen

The Problem is not what ya get on your ship ... the problem is the crew dosent know when they need a scurvy resetting dish.. they eat the things you placed first on boat and if this is one who dosent reset scurvy timer ... ye get it ... thats why only scurvy reset food is actualy usefull ...

foods don't cause scurvy, rather the lack of certain foods. ^ check that post for more info :)
