Repairing Ships?

What "weapon" should I give to my crew member in order to repair the ship? It doesn't say on the Wiki so I'm confused.

You can buy a skill called ship repair from the skill shop, which you then use it on a pirate with 10 tp. That pirate then will slowly repair your ship.

I did buy it. But when the pirate started repairing the ship a red frowny face appeared over his face. I assume this means that he can not fix the ship because he doesn't have the right "weapon" I notice that a green smiley face appears every time my fisher fishes fish (say that 5 times fast) so I guess it might have something to do with it?

that red frowny face i think means his morale is low,and probably too pissed off cuz you dont pay him,and doesnt want to repair the boat.

i think it a bug right for the red frowny face also appear when my pirate was repairing the ship as well, if you hover your mouse on the hull the green bar slowly fill up though so he is repairing the ship but at a really slow rate. I submit a bug post on that, just waiting for other people to confirm it.

BionicAir, their morale was all the way up so I doubt that's it.

Killerz, thanks for the info. I just thought you need a tool to repair it so I wasn't sure.

Hm weird,only time ive ever seen the red frowny face is when one of my crewmembers morale is low and once i pay them,it changes to the green smiley face

yea i get what mean about the crew morale, the icon change from green to yellow and finally red. this one is different though as it float on top of the crew head then disappear, like the sword icon when cooking food.

It's true. A frowny face floats over the smiley face then disapears. The crew member repair the ship sooo slow though.... It's painful to watch. Do you buy multiple people Killerz? Or maybe there is a tool that helps.

from what I've noticed when the red face appears it means the moral of the troop is slightly reduced and vice versa to the green face that disappears.

post is almost a month old and the red face is a direct indication of the level of morale green is high or full yellow is bout half and red is low and no morale they will munity

Okay, just so everyone here is on the same page: The OP was talking about the SMALL FACE ICON that temporarily shows up ABOVE THE MORALE ICON when doing activities.

again the post is almost a month old there have been multipule updates since then so there is no telling if it works the same look in announces for pdate history
from what i seen from people the last few days people have been saying that ship repair isnt implemented yet and from what ive noticed its not even leveling up which tells me its not being used unless thats a bug affect me

the repair skill used to work. it stopped working at some point. i believe i read somewhere that the repairer is trying to repair the wheel, which has no health. i expect it to be fixed... probably before i get a parrot.
