Treasure Digging

I can't find the X mark of the treasure anymore, do you need a skill for it now?
And yeah I know the devs are not working on it, but I still find it a very relaxing nonserious game to play from time to time.

You mean, no X mark on an island? As long as there is a treasure on the island, any place to dig is fine.

are you sure? because I been to two islands where there is supposed to be treasure but no matter where I dig I dont find any chests, only like coconuts and rum

Seems there is a bug regarding the treasures, the X mark is gone and it does matter where you dig, I found it after trying a couple of times on a small island. But this is really game breaking for two reasons
(1) The cooldown for dig is like 20sec which is retarded, no reason for there to be any cooldown at all
(2) The character freeze bug happens a lot after digging, so in addition to having to wait 20sec to dig the game also crashes and you have to restard. You get the best gear through treasure so this ruins the game.

Very sad, this bug wasnt there before. Don't understand why the damn X mark is gone. Oh well, now I understand why so many are so angry with this game, I gave the devs benefit of a doubt but since they dont even care to fix such a simple but game ruining but I will change my review from positive to negative and hope it deters future buyers.
