Details on the Linux version?

Hi,
Pleasantly surprised that the game made it to Steam. Still, I've got a couple of questions about the Linux version which I could not infer from the description.
1) Is the Linux version native or is it running in a Wine wrapper?
2) If the version is native, does it allow for alt-tabbing and using system hotkeys such as volume change while in the game? I know that the old SDL-based games have problems with that.

1) I know for sure it's native.
2) I presume it hasn't that problem

Native SDL2 port to Linux, MacOSX and after port to Windows XP, 7, 8, 8.1.
System hotkeys for system events work.
