i really feel the combat needs tweaking. needs a coolness factor. right now it is a lot clicking, shift, and trying to aim which doesn't quite happen as smooth as it could. i also feel some exrra animation and sound effects could make it more enjoyable. or maybe make the ability to grab something happen faster. like a magnetic effect to grab things intead of grabbing it careully. granted i am purposely using a wireless keyboard with a trackpad to simulate a laptop. i feel if it feels good on laptop then it should feel even better with a proper mouse...and sometimes like whn i fight i honestly have to use a mouse as the trackpad is not good for combat. i will try the controller setup again as well or try making a profile in pinnacle.
the puzzles are good and i really enjoyed that. have not gone too far, but the world itself is quite nice too and sandboxy. i hope to see more. i would also like to see how the story goes. one thing i frequently come across in games is that the main character story is seldom engrossing. most games either have litte to no character story or develop a storyline that is either too shallow or in a few cases entirely overdone. hard to find balance, but when you do a character becomes a lot more interesting and that can really change a gamers desire to continue.
like i finished fable 3 earlier this yewr and while i enjoyed the world and the srory, the gameplay was lacking. too much clicking to kill, nothing interesting. i am hoping the magic in your game it is a lot more interesting than leveling up and clicking over and over.
