Second time playing - how it went
Been out for a bit, but made some time today to finish the beginning of the game to the end
of the steps of a traitor quest. I played this on a wireless keyboard/trackpad to simulate
a laptop.

Notes:

1) Is it possible to make the Sons of Nor wear brighter clothes? I can't tell them apart from regular
civilians except for the traitor.

2) Defending against the lizard men was easy enough. It would be cool to make a wall of sand and
blow it over them. Right now I make a pit or bump of sand and then try to kill them.

3) It would also be nice to make my own terraforming directly under me to get to places. Something
along the lines of Max the Curse of Brotherhood.

4) When following the traitor when he backtracks with the red thing i would instant die. right
when it says "the human has a brain". and when i did get too close because they turned around, it would reload 3 times with instant death before starting from the checkpoint. managed to avoid them by not following at all.

5) some of the bubbling goo would appear in the floor instead of the gooey swampy things in the corridor of following the traitor.

6) the sand laser grids were tough! i could not really click fast enough to keep up. took many deaths
to pass that one. but, it was a nice challenge.

7) I could not really make sense of the wheel-gear puzzle. i mostly got it close enough and just jumped through as well as I could, taking a bit of damage on the last big jump.

8) mirror-sunbeams was tough. got stuck there as i didn't know I could use the balls to destroy. after that it was a breeze.

9) fight against the traitor - sorta weird. i could not really grab anything and aim it fast enough.
mostly just hit shift and left click until i nailed him.

10) last puzzle to get out was not very obvious, but i have played Kairo and am sort of used to not obvious. Got through it fairly quick once I saw the correct marks.

that was that. Will play some more this week. Hope it helps

It would be nice to get your feedback on what do you think could be improved or what you thought was really nice.

one thing i thought that was funny was when i use magic and raise my hands ....and if i run , he runs with his arms flapping above his head. that looks really silly like something from a cartoon. i get a laugh out of that eaxh time.

i really feel the combat needs tweaking. needs a coolness factor. right now it is a lot clicking, shift, and trying to aim which doesn't quite happen as smooth as it could. i also feel some exrra animation and sound effects could make it more enjoyable. or maybe make the ability to grab something happen faster. like a magnetic effect to grab things intead of grabbing it careully. granted i am purposely using a wireless keyboard with a trackpad to simulate a laptop. i feel if it feels good on laptop then it should feel even better with a proper mouse...and sometimes like whn i fight i honestly have to use a mouse as the trackpad is not good for combat. i will try the controller setup again as well or try making a profile in pinnacle.

the puzzles are good and i really enjoyed that. have not gone too far, but the world itself is quite nice too and sandboxy. i hope to see more. i would also like to see how the story goes. one thing i frequently come across in games is that the main character story is seldom engrossing. most games either have litte to no character story or develop a storyline that is either too shallow or in a few cases entirely overdone. hard to find balance, but when you do a character becomes a lot more interesting and that can really change a gamers desire to continue.

like i finished fable 3 earlier this yewr and while i enjoyed the world and the srory, the gameplay was lacking. too much clicking to kill, nothing interesting. i am hoping the magic in your game it is a lot more interesting than leveling up and clicking over and over.
