I had the same issue. Game would crash between 50-60% on event integrity verification when using my laptop. My laptop only has a maximum of 8gm physical memory and I noticed the recent update talked about increasing the memory requirements so I tried installing the game on my desktop which has 16gb physical memory. The game launched perfectly fine on my desktop so I wonder if it is an issue with the increased physical memory cost.

Same for me. I have tried to play it with a Surface Pro with 8GB of RAM but the game crashes upon initial loading. However, it has worked perfectly on the desktop PC with 32GB. There seems to be some problem with memory usage, 8GB should be more than enough.
