I really love Souls-like and in my Onimusha Warlords review, Souls-like before Souls-like and Sekiro before Sekiro is Onimusha.

nah i'm fine with the classic game-play mechanics, souls games can be beat in like 30 minutes. that's why they made em so hard so it takes longer to complete. if they made it souls like it would take way to long to complete and people would get bored.

I hope they reinvent it like they did resident evil when they made 4. Making it a soulslike would be a mistake.

The last thing onimusha needs is a stamina bar. It's a franchise that's movement was founded on microdashing at the flick of a stick, at instantly killing entire rooms of enemies with tornados or issen chains, and in the first place it started as a resident evil game.
