Will try testing on win10 this week to see if can get similar results - then see if can work out what the issue is.
Look at your installed programs, and check if `XNA 4.0 refresh` is there.
Thanks.
This should be installed when the game is first installed (if you dont have it already). But let us know your results on your pcs please.
Why didn't the game launch?
"Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0" was missing.
It wasn't obvious because the game doesn't complain, it silently doesn't launch.
How to make it work?
Download "Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 4.0" from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=20914 and install it.
Why was a component missing in the first place?
One possibility is that the installation process did not install it. I'm not sure why. Maybe because I have "Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable 3.1" already installed for another game.
Another option is that it was installed but has been removed by another uninstaller. In any case, reinstallations of Aqua Kitty did not install it.
Anyway, we can wait and see if others say that it's the same case for them or not.
Can you check the game exe is in the game folder - just in case antivirus deleted it. Also could you post the error message as an image? Or explain clearly what it is and says (is it a steam panel - or xna related for example?)
You know, I give this a try already a few times and I still can't get the game to run. It ran fine before I upgraded to Windows 10 a while back.
