Hi, the current WMP dependency is noted in the store description, but we appreciate not everyone wants to have it installed.
So we are now looking into a solution to play back ordinary ogg vorbis files from c# - and so remove the WMP dependency. Apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime.
I'm in the same boat as The Menstrual Persuader (that name makes me want to puke). I understand that it is too early to tell, but how long do you think it will take to "fix" this?
Hi, apologies to you too - it may take at least 2 days tops, as we need to test the fix once its done. I will update in these forums and remove the dependency notice from the store page once we have a new version ready.
thanks for your patience, I can appreciate it must be frustrating.
I've been waiting for this game since I first saw it on greenlight...a couple of days more of waiting isn't going to kill me :)
My system is: AMD FX 4100 3.61GHz
4GB RAM
Windows 7 Professional x64
MSI Radeon R9 280X 3GB
Hi, could you check if you have windows media player installed? The game won't currently run unless it is installed (we are working on a fix for that issue, that we hope to have ready tommorrow now).
I just got the message "System.InvalidOperationException: An invalid action occured when trying to query the keyboard state. The result was 0." following by some obscure korean / chinese symbols and "bei (at) Microsoft.XNA.Framework.Input.Keyboard.GetState (PlayerIndex playerIndex)" as well as "bei (at) Microsoft.XNA.Framework.Input.Keyboard.GetState ()"
I'm currently using an Xbox 360 wired controller - Maybe that's an issue? Because i'm quite sure that XNA is up to date on my system.
Would be great if you had an idea what to do.
Cheers
yeah Windows Media Player is installed, still can't get the game to launch
My antivirus wasn't even sure if it was safe to start the game for some reason. I turned off the antivirus just in case and still nothing happens when I attempt to start it.
I've also reinstalled the game.
