Do I need to start a new playthrough to get the other endings?
Is the freddy mask needed for an ending? I traded it.

It doesn't seem to be needed. It's just another option to trade to get the firecrackers. You can also trade the game console from the prize vending machine.

if this is about 3 star ending people recently realised you also needed to repair all the arcade machines at jeff's for it to work
