I don't think so? William first became the "main antagonist" in 2015, maybe 2014 if you count fnaf 2. His last appearance as a main antagonist in the story was 2017 in FFPS if we count only the games but with the books it ends in 2021.

Mimic started in 2019 with HW. So that's 4 years for Mimic and 6-7 years for William

Yeah. Because he thought that one of the stories in the Felix the Shark book was hinting at a real FNaF ARG

I also remember when fans somehow found a website for the fake, in-universe game studio, Silver Parasol games, which was seemingly a part of a cut ARG for Help Wanted, and had Scott's real phone number attached to it.

Do you guys think that these guys[cdn.discordapp.com] could be mascot costumes in Secret of the Mimic?

Their limbs aren't segmented like animatronics in this franchise usually are, so it could be that this was the first concept art for Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica costumes in that game. Which would mean two things:
1. This game was planned for longer than we'd thought.
2. LadyFiszi technically gave us our first ever piece of Carnival News™-

For whatever reason, I can't get the link to work, but it's the weird Freddy, Bonnie, and Chica designs that LadyFiszi shared on Freddit a few years ago.

Of course, if that was concept art for SOTM, I imagine that the final designs that Scott went with are different enough for him to have been comfortable with her sharing those early designs, but it would indicate that we'll see some variation of Freddy and the gang in SOTM, and it'd finally explain what those designs were for.

The versions on the top half of the image look even more like mascot costumes, and it seems like Fiszi experimented with making this version of Chica a springlock suit, before settling on the final versions, which appear to be a mix of the mascot costume designs, and elements of the springlock designs.

Considering that The Mimic uses both traditional mascot costumes and springlock suits, I could easily see these being in the game in some way.
