At the risk of sounding like a creepy stalker with too much useless knowledge... You may be referring to the orignal games called Porrasturvat and Rekkaturvat, which were produced under tAAt consisting of a programmer by the name of Jetro Lauha who only created these to demo rag doll physics. I've been a fan of Jetro Lauha for over a decade now and when Secret Exit was formed, these actually became a whole new Dismount and were more marketed towards iPad, iPhone and Andriod platforms rather than the PC. So to answer your question, yes and no.

So why are they advertising this as the sequel to Stair Dismount? Not only did I like Truck Dismount a lot more, but this game seems to share more similarities with Truck Dismount.

Simply because the latest iteration of Dismount games prior to Turbo Dismount is the version of Stair Dismount on iOS and Android. We're not really experts when it comes to naming :)

Sounds like what you are saying is that Secret Exit will never dismount the Dismount name.
