if you look at the store page, turbo dismount is no longer early acess... what will be the next step in this horrifying turn of events?

I don't really follow. Why would Turbo Dismount (or any game for that matter) be the "end" of it or that it's a "horrifying turn of events" because it's no longer in early access? Unless the original post was meant as some kind of "joke" or strange sarcasm? :p

If you take a closer look, you'll notice Turbo Dismount hasn't been in Early Access since May this year, and has gotten a number of updates after reaching v1.0

We've added obstacle position tweaking, new levels, a new character, and seasonal heads since then. The previous update was around Thanksgiving.

The next horrific turn of events will be an update for the holidays ;)

Tried verifying the game installation yet?
From your Steam Library, right-click on Turbo Dismount, select Properties, go to the Local Files tab and choose Verify integrity of game cache. If the check finds any corrupt or missing files, it should re-download them for you.
