I'm making this post because I didn't see any tips for getting this achievement more quickly anywhere else other than "keep playing a lot". There is always a better way.

One important thing to note first of all that I've seen nowhere else is that you don't need to wait until the dismount "completes" for a decap. As soon as the head flies off you can reset and it counts.

The most efficient "setup" I've found so far is Freeway, shopping cart, riding on top/facing forward, speed thing then oil slick. Any speed should be fine.
This speeds up and flips the cart upside down and results in a quick decap almost every time....rinse. repeat.

I'm not saying this is the fastest way, but it's the fastest way I've found. It results in decap about 90% of the time and in about 7-8 seconds per launch. Put on a movie and just keep one eye on it and keep resetting. Hope this helps some of you. And if anyone knows a faster way please let me know I haven't found much info anywhere else. 1000 is still quite a bit at this rate - I'm still not even there myself but I'm getting it w the above method way faster than before.

I have had some very good luck using the big headded guy and Sasquatch, getting a decap almost every other run but then again itt may have just been my good luck.

Adding this note despite this thread being almost a decade old cause it might be useful to someone:

You do not need to finish the Dismount! Once you get decapitated, wait about two-three seconds, and then reset. My fastest trick is using the Squealer on the workshop map 'Enter the Bus-stream' while using Mr. Ego.

I doubt people still use this thread, but thought this could help those random folks looking for advice on this tedious achievement.

Best Tip to get French Revolution this is create a level with decaptitation or use the Sasquatch, Mr. or Mrs. Dismount, Aiming High map, 5th pose, place the Quarter Pipe ramp 1st. And... GO RECIEVE AN ACHIEVEMENT.

you can download the online level named "no escape". you need patience because it's a long level.
